Picosecond laser is a laser that emits a pulse with a duration (pulse width) of picoseconds. It uses the most advanced technology to treat pigmentary diseases. It uses fast and powerful energy to crush the pigment in the skin more finely, and then drain it out of the body through the lymphatic system to completely remove tattoos and spots. Therefore, the treatment process is shortened from 10 times to 2-3 times, without damaging the dermis, reducing the possibility of side effects and increasing the success rate of the operation.

As the name suggests, picosecond laser is a laser in which the pulse duration (pulse width) of each laser emission reaches the picosecond level.

According to the principle of selective photothermolysis, the shorter the laser action time, the less likely it is that the laser energy absorbed and accumulated in the target tissue will diffuse to the surrounding tissues. The energy is confined to the target that needs to be treated to a greater extent, protecting the surrounding normal tissues, and thus the treatment selectivity is stronger. The pulse width of a picosecond laser is only one percent of that of a traditional Q-switched laser. Under this ultra-short pulse width, light energy does not have time to be converted into heat energy, and almost no photothermal effect is produced. After being absorbed by the target, its volume expands extremely rapidly, producing a photomechanical effect that causes it to explode and be torn into pieces. This has stronger selectivity, allowing pigmented skin lesions to produce stronger therapeutic effects with a shorter number of treatments. In a nutshell, "Picosecond lasers shatter pigment particles more thoroughly, while causing less damage to surrounding tissues."

If we compare the original pigment particles to rocks, the traditional Q-switched laser can break these rocks into the size of pebbles, while using picosecond laser can break them into fine sand, thus greatly improving the absorption efficiency of the pigment fragments.

VII. Safety Matters

1. Electrical safety

The laser uses a single-phase 220V/5A or 110V/10A power supply, and the maximum output current is no more than 3A.

The power supply connected to the laser must use a single-phase three-wire power socket that complies with national standards and is well grounded, with a specification of at least 5A.

There is high voltage when the laser is running. After turning off the power, the high-voltage components may still have residual voltage. Opening the chassis at will may cause high-voltage electric shock!

2. Transportation safety

Lasers are large devices and are not suitable for users to move around. The laser machine's handle shell contains a precise laser optical system, and the shock-absorbing packaging provided by the manufacturer must be used during transportation, otherwise it may cause the laser system to become out of adjustment and affect the laser output energy!

The drain hole must be plugged tightly before moving and transporting.

3. System safety device

In order to ensure safe use, the laser is designed with the following safety protection devices:

Stop switch: convenient for emergency shutdown in case of unexpected situations;

Standby/Ready Control: Laser output is prohibited in standby mode, which is a safe state of the system.

4. [Statement]: Low temperature areas below 0℃

If the instrument is not used for a long time, or needs to be used in a different location, the water inside (handle and main unit) must be drained.

Try not to place the instrument in an environment below 0℃ for more than 3 hours. Studies have found that water below 0℃ will experience a "surge" phenomenon when moving, which means that liquid water below 0℃ will freeze rapidly during movement. After liquid water turns into solid ice, its volume increases rapidly, causing certain damage to water pipes, internal water channels of cooling fans, laser water channels and other components.

After receiving the instrument, the customer needs to leave it at room temperature of 23-26℃ for 24 hours before using it. If the instrument is damaged due to the customer's own reasons, the company only provides paid repair services. Due to the impact of temperature, we hope that customers can pay attention to it and comply with the requirements for daily maintenance.

8. Operation Instructions

• Instrument Installation:

    1.1 Light guide arm installation:Take out the light guide arm and put it vertically into the light guide arm connection port of the host, then rotate the nut to fix it;

1.2 Handle bracket installation:Fix the handle bracket on the light guide arm with screws;

1.3 Treatment handle installation:Align the holes as indicated by the arrows and insert them to tighten.

1.4 Add water:Insert the drain pipe into the overflow hole on the left side of the bottom of the main unit, insert the funnel into the water filling hole, and add distilled water through the funnel until water flows out of the overflow hole, which means it is full;

Release water:Insert the drain pipe into the drain hole on the right side of the bottom of the main unit, and insert the funnel into the water filling hole. The water will be discharged directly through the drain pipe.

Note: When adding water, a container should be placed at the corresponding position of the overflow port to collect water.

It is not allowed to start the machine without water at any time.

Coolant: purified water or distilled water

When the temperature is below 0°C, replace the water with antifreeze.

1.5 Foot switch and power connection:The foot switch is used to control the laser output. When the foot switch is pressed, the shutter motor's baffle opens and the laser is output from the end of the articulated arm.

1,Precautions

① It is normal to feel slight tingling during the treatment;

②Cannot be used in pregnant women;

③It should not be used for bleeding, thrombotic arteriosclerosis, acute inflammation, joint and soft tissue suppuration;

④ It is forbidden to store it near direct light or heating appliances, especially in summer;

⑤ Keep away from places with water or moisture (sauna, bathhouse, etc.), which may cause damage;

⑥ It is forbidden to be impacted by external force to avoid damage, especially when using the handle, be careful not to drop it on the ground;

⑦ It is forbidden to use chemical drugs to wipe the instrument (alcohol, benzene, thiazolidine, etc.), which will cause damage;

⑧ Do not use the instrument for a long time continuously, as it will cause damage;

⑨Do not let children get in contact with the instrument;

10This instrument should be kept away from sensitive areas such as eyes, Adam's apple, and sexual organs;

2, This product is prohibited for physical therapy in the following situations

1. Patients with edema or edema, and hypertension;

After-sales instructions

1. Starting from the date when the instrument leaves the factory (based on the barcode on the machine), Party A shall provide Party B with one year of free repair and lifetime maintenance after-sales service for the main unit (excluding the handle).
2. From the date the instrument leaves the factory (based on the barcode on the machine), the handles of all models are under warranty for three months, except for human factors. (Human factors refer to non-routine instrument operations, such as not adding water, breaking, etc.)
3. The laser aiming head and E-light insert are not covered by the warranty. For consumables with a fixed number of points, such as the treatment head, we will provide a warranty of half the number of points.
4. Within 7 days after the instrument leaves the factory (15 days abroad), if the machine has quality problems (not caused by human factors and force majeure), our company will provide free replacement service. If the customer returns it according to the freight specified by our company, our company will bear the two-way freight.
5. From 15 days to one year after the instrument leaves the factory, if the machine has quality problems (not caused by human factors and force majeure), our company will provide free maintenance services and free replacement of parts services. If the whole machine is not returned to the factory for repair, you can remove the parts and return them to the factory under the guidance of our engineers. After the parts are repaired, we will guide the installation. If the accessories need to be provided first due to long distances, urgent time, etc., we will charge the accessories fee first. If the damaged accessories are returned to the factory within one month, a full refund will be made. If they cannot be returned in time, they will be deemed to have been shipped (within three months for foreign customers). The original packaging must be retained when the whole machine is returned to the factory. We are not responsible for road damage caused by packaging problems. The shipping costs required for accessories or the whole machine are each borne by the customer and our company. If an engineer is required to provide door-to-door service, the customer shall provide round-trip travel expenses (except Guangzhou);
6. If the instrument has quality problems after more than one year, Party A will provide paid warranty to Party B, and only charge the replacement fee of parts (the warranty period for replacement parts is 3 months) and the engineer's travel expenses. If the instrument needs to be returned to the factory for repair, two-way freight and parts replacement fees will be charged.

Note: All products produced by our company are precision instruments and cannot be frequently moved. We can provide warranty for instrument quality problems caused by transportation, but the responsibility is not ours. The original packaging is very important for future upgrades and repairs of the instrument, and it is recommended that customers keep it. The factory barcode is the only proof of warranty. If the barcode is torn, the warranty service will not be enjoyed. Our company reserves the final right of interpretation and modification of the after-sales instructions.
